The Data Import tool allows you to use data from a spreadsheet to automatically create records in the system. You can also use this tool to make mass updates to existing records. This can save you hours of data entry time.


The process of importing data to the X3 system is based on the following rules:

Course Title: Scheduler

Course Description: The Scheduling tab in eMaint provides the tools you'll need to view your work order queue and your forecast of scheduled PM schedules in a calendar view in order to assign labor resources and effectively manage  your open backlog of work orders. This course will show you how to set up and use the Scheduler tab most effectively,

Course Description: The Data Dictionary is the powerful "engine" that drives the data structures and field  behaviors in eMaint. This course will provide an in-depth review of the most commonly used fields in the data dictionary and how to use them properly. We'll also cover important DOs and DON'Ts that will help you avoid causing damage to your data.

Course Title: Custom Filter Setup

Course Description: The Custom Filter tools in eMaint enable you to take full advantage of such system features as the Calendar/Scheduler, PM Manager and other PM Utilities, Workflow Manager and Email Templates, Group Closeout, and PO Center. This class will teach you how to properly create, optimize, and manage your Custom Filters for optimum use of the system.
